Sharp Edges is a show that is not for the sensitive of spirit, nor the faint of heart. It is progressive erotic imagery by internationally renowned photographer Justice Howard merged with dark & edgy wordage by writer John Gilmore. Justice Howard is featured on websites alongside Francesco Scavullo & Mapplethorpe. Internationally renowned in over 25 countries her client list reads like an 'artistic wish list'. She is a visual author of literally hundreds of print features and dozens of anthologies and her aesthetics have been documented in hundreds of magazines and just as many highly successful art gallery exhibitions (in US & Europe) as well as hardcover coffee table books. John Gilmore has over 10 books to his credit. The best known are “Severed: Story of the Black Dahlia” and “Live Fast Die Young, the story of James Dean”. Acclaimed internationally for his literary fiction, his hard-boiled true crime books and Hollywood memoirs, Gilmore has a following that spans the globe from Hong Kong to Hollywood. Scorchy & torchy images will feature pinup legend Mamie Van Doren in a glamorous murder scene ritual, as well as photos of Dave Navarro, Xene Cervenka, and UFC champion Kimo Leopoldo. A recreation of the famous Black Dahlia murder scenes that are geographically & historically accurate, will be exhibited. Also the original Evil Divas will be displayed. Enter the “Verboten” room if you dare. Custom knives (that will stick the art to the wall) created especially for this event by House of Steel. Also 2000 never-before-published images in a multimedia presentation.
